Creating An HTML Site Map
To create an html site map:

An html site map generator which is what we use on our VORTEX demo sites. The steps are as follows:

A) Install PS Auto Site Maps (from WP library search "PS Auto Sitemap") and upload via auto installer and activate the plugin.

B) Create a page in your site and name is "Site Map"
Then place the site map point code into the html view in the page editor. This is the site map point code:
<!-- SITEMAP CONTENT REPLACE POINT -->

C) Make a note of the Site Map page ID# (found in pages menu on far right side) and place that ID# in the settings page of the PS Auto Site Maps plugin. Choose other options to suit and save the page.

D) Go into WP-Admin/Appearance/Menus and add the new "Site Map" page to the "Bottom" menu (for footer) and save the menu.
That's it,.. you're all done. Now every page and post will display when someone clicks the site map page tab. You can hide some pages and posts from the map if you wish,.. just use the settings in the plugin to do so.

NOTE: The PS auto site maps is an html site map which mainly is there for the benefit of visitors but also search engines do see those pages.
When you also install an XML site maps plugin as well then you have 2 site maps:
1) for visitors (mainly) (PS Auto Site Map)
2) for search engines (XML map)

See separate thread for information about installing an XML site map.
