Using The Buttons Creator Function
Localbiz Vortex features 2 different types of buttons creator.

Here's what the button creator icons look like and where to find them in every page/post editor.

Using this function to create buttons is as simple as scrolling through the various self explanatory fields for size, color, font, etc and then clicking "Insert" when finished so that the shortcode for your button will be inserted into the page or post.

NOTE: once you've created the shortcode you can copy and paste it into any widget area (such as sidebars) and your button will show there.

What's the difference between the "General" and the "Mobile" button creator?
Basically they are the same but the main difference is that there are more button style options with the "General" button creator. There is an option in the button style options to choose between "Plain" and "Video Play". The "Video Play" option will create buttons that have an arrow pointing right ">" at the end of the button. You can play around with this and see the effects for yourself.

IMPORTANT: When nominating the URL link for your button you need to observe some simple prefixes when linking to "Tap To Call" or "SMS" etc.

Here's a list of those prefixes:
To link to a website include prefix {http://}, to a phone# use prefix {tel:}, to send SMS use prefix {sms:} Exclude {} brackets. Alternatively you can link to any page or post or to various videos to display in the featured panel

Note that there is provision also in the "General Buttons" option for you to select from 3 different types of Custom Button styles. All you need to do to incorporate your own button styles is to create them and then upload them and name them "custom-1-pln.png" "custom-2-pln.png" "custom-2-pln.png" (and for video custom buttons use "custom-1-vid.png")
and upload them to the graphics/generalbutton/ folder of your VORTEX theme, - for example:
yourwebsite.com/wp-content/themes/VortexSiteBuilder/graphics/generalbutton/custom-1-pln.png
